A private jet facility at Manchester Airport that regularly serves Premier League footballers and celebrities has been listed for sale by Knight Frank with an asking price of approximately £10 million.
The Signature Aviation Private Jet Facility, which manages about 10 flights daily, is promoted as the only private jet hangar at Manchester Airport offering direct runway access along with capabilities for baggage processing, immigration clearance, and luxury ground transportation.
The property provides comprehensive ground handling services, aircraft parking, and jet fuel management. On-site amenities include two VIP lounges, a conference room, a crew lounge, and staff facilities.
Currently owned by Columbia Threadneedle since their 2020 acquisition, the facility is being marketed by Knight Frank who are seeking offers above £9.5 million. This price point reflects a net initial yield of 6.0% based on the property’s existing rental income.
The hangar structure encompasses 33,755 square feet with an additional 20,667 square feet of adjacent land. It is leased to RSS Jet Centre Limited, a subsidiary of Signature Aviation, and is situated on the southern side of Manchester Airport’s freight and aviation zone, neighboring operations from Jet2, STS Aviation Services, Swissport Cargo Services, and Dnata.
Holly McLeman, senior surveyor at Knight Frank’s Manchester office, described the opportunity as rare, noting that securing a property with airside access at one of the world’s leading airports represents a significant investment prospect.
She emphasized that the facility’s role as a critical component in northern England’s private aviation sector, combined with its distinctive features, establishes value not only for the physical asset but also for the land it occupies.
