A Yorkshire-based facades specialist is positioning itself for a significant growth phase, targeting a £100 million pipeline of work across the North and Midlands.

Wakefield’s CCL Facades, part of the Caddick Construction Group, has outlined ambitious expansion plans after a strong initial trading period that saw the company reach £9.6 million in turnover for its first full year, ending August 2024.

The company was established in 2022 when Caddick Construction Group acquired assets and intellectual property from Speedclad. It now projects turnover rising from £13.1 million in the 2024/25 financial year to £16 million in 2025/26, building on its reputation as an innovative cladding and facades contractor.

Managing director Tony Blake has grown the team from an initial nine to 29 employees. To date, the company has delivered over £40 million worth of projects across 26 completed schemes. It currently has 10 live projects on site and a further 22 in the pipeline, valued at approximately £99 million.

CCL Facades operates across Caddick Construction Group’s key regions — the North West, North East, Yorkshire, and the Midlands — working on commercial, residential, healthcare, and education developments.

The firm has built relationships with several major contractors, including BAM, Eric Wright, Shepherd Group, and Lindum. Sixty-five percent of its turnover now comes from external clients outside the Caddick Group, reflecting its growing market presence.

“Our journey over the past three years has been one of transformation and growth,” Blake said. “From a small, specialist team, we’ve built a dynamic, award-winning business delivering some of the most technically advanced façades in the UK.”

He pointed to the company’s Speedpanel product as an example of the kind of innovation driving its upward trajectory. “With an exceptional team and innovative solutions like Speedpanel, we’re perfectly positioned to continue this growth.”

CCL Facades was named winner at the 2024 Façade Awards UK and received two nominations in 2025 for significant and technically complex schemes, a recognition that underscores the role specialist contractors play in shaping the built environment across the regions it serves.
