As you tackle your spring cleaning, consider checking whether you’re eligible for payouts from recent class-action settlements. If you’ve used services like LastPass, Tinder, or Android, or if you’re a State Farm policyholder or Tom’s of Maine customer, you may be entitled to compensation.

While claiming settlement money requires patience and often involves meeting specific deadlines, it’s worth the effort to secure funds you may be owed. Below are five key settlements open for claims this spring:

1. Google Android Data Settlement

Up to 100 million Android users may qualify for payments following a $135 million settlement in *Joseph Taylor, et al. v. Google*. The lawsuit alleged that Google improperly used customers’ cellular data for background transfers even when apps were closed. Although Google denied wrongdoing, the settlement covers Android users since November 12, 2017. A final approval hearing is set for June 23. Eligible users do not need to submit a claim but must provide a notice ID and confirmation code to select a payment method. More details are available at FederalCellularClassAction.com.

2. LastPass Data Breach Settlement

LastPass has agreed to a nearly $25 million settlement following a 2022 data breach. U.S. customers who used the password manager before November 2022 may file claims. The default payout is $25 from an $8.2 million fund, but victims of identity theft can claim up to $10,000, and those with documented cryptocurrency losses may access an additional $16.25 million pool. Notifications began in late March, and the deadline to submit claims is July 2. Visit LastPassSettlement.com for more information.

3. Tinder Age-Discrimination Settlement

Tinder settled a class-action lawsuit for $60.5 million over allegations it charged older users more for premium memberships. The settlement applies only to California residents who purchased Tinder Plus or Gold after March 2, 2015. While Tinder denied improper conduct, eligible users can select their payment method by August 18, 2026. Details are posted at TinderCalClassAction.com.

4. Tom’s of Maine Toothpaste Settlement

Consumers who bought Tom’s of Maine natural toothpaste between November 21, 2020, and March 6, 2026, may be eligible for refunds under a $2.9 million settlement. The suit accused the company of deceptive practices after the FDA issued a warning letter in 2024 regarding bacterial contamination at a production facility. Claim information is available at ToothpasteSettlement.com.

5. State Farm Insurance Settlements

State Farm has reached multi-million-dollar settlements in New Mexico and Arkansas. New Mexico policyholders with “U coverage” (protection against uninsured/underinsured motorists) can claim part of a $20.9 million settlement via SchwartzUIMClassSettlement.com. In Arkansas, a pending $15.6 million settlement will cover customers who experienced total vehicle losses, though the class size is expected to be small.

Stay informed about these opportunities and act before deadlines pass to ensure you receive any compensation you’re owed.
